Homes for Defenders of Freedom is an outgrowth of supporting our Troops on the battlefield and at home. It is our intention to build and give away new, custom-built homes to wounded and disabled Veterans, who served honorably in Iraq and Afghanistan. The homes will be given to our Heroes mortgage free.

It is a privilege for Defenders of Freedom to help those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom and liberty. We will award homes to the most severely wounded service members giving them a "Hand Up" rather than a hand out. The new homes will enable our Heroes to live a more normal, independent and productive life as the family adjusts to changes brought on by the war.

This endeavor is only made possible through monetary donations, building materials, and professional labor from individuals and companies who support our returning war Heroes.

Richard is a seasoned professional builder who has a long and successful career in local residential homebuilding. He is dedicating the majority of his time now and into the foreseeable future to this endeavor through Defenders of Freedom.

We are sure that we who build and provide money, materials and labor for these homes will receive enduring satisfaction from the smiles on the faces of our deserving heroes when they move in their new homes. This is a unique opportunity to help these special individuals one on one.
